as started by Martin Luther in Germany and John Calvin in Switzerland.
Central are pieces based on hymn tunes composed by Martin Luther and

Fortress is our God' will feature in compositions by Otto Nicolai/Franz
Liszt, William Faulkes and Jan Zwart. Other Lutheran hymn tunes are
presented in music by Bach and Mendelssohn. The Genevan Psalter is
represented by Hubert Parry's Fantasia on the 'Old 100th' and the Norfolk-
based composer Ron Watson in his Fantasia on 'Rendez a Dieu', a work
commissioned by William Janssen in 2016 for the 200th anniversary
celebrations of the United Reformed Church in Thetford.
