ROBERT HOUSSART

Robert Houssart was born in Haarlem, Holland, in 1979. He was educated in the U.K. and later held the Organ Scholarship at St John's College, Cambridge. He spent two years as Organ Scholar at Westminster Cathedral before moving to Gloucester in 2002, where he is Assistant Director of Music. In July 2003 Robert won the Improvisation Prize at the St Albans International Organ Competition. He continues to study with Nicolas Kynaston.
