INFORMATION AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT ADVERTISING
How much does it cost to advertise concerts on organrecitals.com?
There's no financial charge but your website (if you have one), concert publicity, and recital programmes must mention this site, e.g. "For future local and national concerts, see www.organrecitals.com". Also, you should report any changes to recitals already listed. Sorry, venues not on mainland Britain cannot be included.
How do I submit concert details to organrecitals.com?
Send an e-mail to webmaster@organrecitals.com - feel free to include attachments (e.g. Word documents, pdf files) or links to webpages but please ensure the details listed in the box below are provided somewhere. To save yourself time and effort, you may want to check if the concert is already listed (someone else may have submitted it). To do this, see the Index of Venues or the Index of Organists and click on the place or person concerned, if present. Recitals are normally listed within 48 hours of receiving the necessary details.
Please provide these four pieces of information if the venue has not appeared previously on organrecitals.com
(for a list of venues that have appeared, click here - opens in a new window and takes a few moments to load).
-The venue's website address.
-The venue's physical address - including county and, most importantly, postcode.
-Details of local train stations, bus services, parking arrangements, etc.
-The recital pattern (e.g. weekly, monthly), if there is one.

Details of each recital should include:
The venue's name. Contact details (for enquiries about this recital). Day and date. Time (from-to). Admission prices (e.g. full, concessions). Organist's name and location (e.g. "Stephen Disley, Southwark Cathedral" or "Jane Parker-Smith, Concert Organist" or "Fred Bloggs, Brighton").
Why advertise on organrecitals.com?
organrecitals.com is Britain's largest organ concerts website. Search for "organ recitals" or "organ recital" using google or yahoo or bing and you'll be presented with a list that, in total, runs to thousands of webpages. Guess which site is at the top of that list? Since 2005, organrecitals.com has listed 20,729 concerts by 2,650 organists at 1,074 venues. Around 1600 pages on the site are viewed daily - that's over half-a-million annually. Thousands of people go to recitals as a direct result of seeing them advertised here.
organrecitals.com lists each concert on up to 14 pages. For example: A recital by Ian Tracey at Liverpool Cathedral on Monday 25/May/09 will appear on [1] the Ian Tracey page, [2] the Liverpool Cathedral page, [3] the May 2009 page, [4] the May 25th page, [5] the Monday page, [6] the Liverpool page, [7] the Merseyside page, [8] the North West Region page, and [9] the England page. It will also appear, when appropriate, on [10] the This Month page, [11] the Next 7 Days page, [12] the Tomorrow page, and [13] the Today page. Finally, each recital has [14] its own page.
organrecitals.com is comprehensive and always up-to-date. Concerts are removed from view shortly after their scheduled start time. Each recital's information includes details of the organ being played and a map showing the venue's location. There's also a large text version (for the visually impaired and for screen readers) and a mobile section (for on-the-move browsing). Printable versions of most pages are also available. You can send any concert's details to someone else and, if you wish, sign-up for weekly concert bulletins via e-mail.
organrecitals.com is rated as "Safe" by Norton Safe Web. This means it has no computer threats, no identity threats, and no annoyance factors. To see the full report, click here (opens in a new window).
