GALLERY – REGAL, MARBLE ARCH
Trocadero,
Elephant & Castle
Console of the "Christie" organ by Hill, Norman, & Beard. With 30 units (36 ranks), this was the largest theatre organ outside the U.S.A. The instrument has been in storage for decades and there are, seemingly, no plans for its restoration. It's sad to realise that the instrument has now been unplayable for more years than it was playable! For the stop list and other details, click here.
