A typical Lewis console, with horizontally-arranged stops. Those on the left were for the Pedal (lower group) and Swell (upper group), whilst those on the right were for the Great (upper group) and Choir (lower group). The stops above the top manual were for the Solo organ. Couplers were grouped with their respective departments and the swell boxes were controlled by hitch-down pedals.
