ST PETER'S, EATON SQUARE
The Pedal, Choir, Great, and Swell organs were accommodated here, on the north side, in a chamber above the chancel. Standing against the west wall of the transept were the 32-foot open wood pipes (one of which can be seen on the picture's left). The console was positioned on the floor of the transept, and the solo organ's box was sited on the south side, in a clerestory arch above the east end of the nave. The church and organ were destroyed by fire in the mid-1980s.
